Metro-wide Outreach Program
Provides crisis intervention services at the 24/7 Gateway Center. This program links homeless clients with community resources and provides housing, case management, crisis intervention, information and referral, counseling and financial assistance. Of the 400 clients served, 60 are veterans and 180 have severe mental health problems. Eighty-two percent (82%) of these clients have been placed in some kind of housing program to include substance abuse recovery programs, mental health programs or reconnection with their families.
